Natural Weight Loss Remedies - Thermocerin

By David Riewe

Frustrated with your weight? Don't think that changing your diet and exercising is going to really cut it? Turns out you're not alone. Literally thousands of people are trying to find natural weight loss remedies to trim down. Being over weight, now regarded by many as a medical condition, is actually something YOU can cure. With a little help, you may be able to kick start your weight loss program with the natural weight loss remedy Thermocerin.

Thermocerin stakes its claim as "the most powerful fat burner available on the market without a prescription." It's a bold claim that they substantiate by offering a product made of all-natural herbal ingredients known for their effectiveness in weight loss. The Thermocerin website features many customer testimonials who lost weight in a brief time.

Going into this you already likely know there is no such thing as a miracle solution. Hard work is the key, after all you likely did not put the weight on over night, so it isn't going to come off over night either. But, there's actually more to it - a reason your body objects to losing weight - biochemical and biological reasons. In short form, your fat cells are working against you.

The first thing you do when you go on a diet is reduce your caloric intake. That makes your body panic, and it starts thinking you're starving it. So instead of going WITH the program, they store the fat for later, just in case. How annoying. This reaction is caused by fat receptors. They want to go into hoard mode. So you need to find a way to turn the fat receptors off and release fat into your bloodstream and burn it.

The product Thermocerin claims that it teaches your body thermogenesis - tells your fat cells to shut up and get on the same page towards weight loss, not retention. Thermogenesis means your body produces heat or energy through a chemical reaction. The more energy produced, the higher your metabolic rate and the more fat gets burned. So, if your metabolism is higher due to more energy being generated you are benefiting from the thermogenic effect - the increased burn off of calories and fat. It also goes hunting to find stored fat and burns it out was well.

So what's in Thermocerin? The short answer is polyphenols(plant chemicals creating pigment) from green and white tea plants plus Capsaicin (active component in chili peppers) and Yohimbe.(antioxidant properties). The ingredient, yohimbe, comes from a tree in Africa and has been known to increase metabolism, build muscle, improve sexual function, decrease anxiety and elevate mood. A small amount of caffeine also helps to give you energy without feeling jittery or nervous. Will it work?

Anecdotal evidence suggests it will, but with any product that has a combination of herbs in it, natural or not, you should make certain to do your research first. This is even more important if you happen to have an allergy to herbs. So make sure you read the fine print and look things up on the Internet.

Secrets To Weight Loss

Look on the internet under the subjects of weight loss or losing weight and you will come across websites offering to share the secrets of weight loss with you. This is a wonderful thing that these people are prepared to give you an insight as to what you can do to lose weight. Off course many of the secrets are not free. You can pay anything from $10.00 upwards for a secret way to lose weight.

Correct me if I am wrong but I was under the impression that a secret is something that is to be kept private and not to be revealed. So why are people prepared to share a secret with you for a price? Surely if a thousand people purchase this secret, then how can it be a secret any longer? If there were secrets towards losing weight, surely hospitals and doctors would be aware of them, and they would let you know for free.

The truth is that there are no secrets to weight loss. Losing weight is achievable for virtually anyone if they follow the simple formula of burning more calories than they consume. Avoid these so called weight loss secrets like the plague because the only thing that will get lighter is your wallet and not your body.

Weight loss is all about common sense and any product that seems too good to be true, probably is. A quick fix to lasting weight loss is no fix at all. Simply because your body needs time to change. Your body is constructed in a way that it takes time for it to change. If you try to speed up this process, then your body will stop changing. This is why when people adopt an extremely low calorie diet to lose weight quickly, they find themselves losing some initial weight in the first couple of weeks, but after this any weight loss grinds to a halt.

Most of the weight you may have lost will be through muscle and not fat. Muscle is an expensive commodity for you body to keep because your body requires more calories to keep hold of muscle than it does to keep fat. So when you cut back drastically on calories, your body will offload the muscle and hang onto the fat. The ideal situation is to try and keep your muscle and get rid of the fat; however a low calorie diet will not allow that.

There are 3 things that you must do if you want to lose weight successfully.

Desire and motivation are a required combination for weight loss. Desire alone is not enough; you must motivate yourself to act on your desire. If I desire a cup of coffee, I am not going to get one until I motivate myself to get up and fetch one. Desire on its own is just a wish and wishes rarely come true.

Changing to a healthy diet is vital. Don't just cut back on calories straight away. Begin replacing unhealthy foods with healthy foods. Instead of eating all your calories through 2 or 3 meals a day, split them so you are eating the same amount of calories but over 4 or 5 meals a day. This alone will be of great benefit towards your weight loss goals. If you are going to decrease calories make sure you do not cut more than 400 calories a day from your diet. Once your body has become accustomed to this drop in calories, cut back couple of hundred more calories from your daily diet.

The benefits of exercise go far beyond just weight loss. Exercise can have a positive impact on virtually most areas of your life. Cardio is necessary for weight loss as it burns calories; do not neglect a weight training routine. Remember the idea is to keep muscle and lose fat. Weight training will enable you to keep much of your muscle you would have otherwise lost through cardio alone.

Forget all the fad diets, miracle diet pills, and quick fixes. Walking on water is a miracle; changing water to wine is a miracle. Losing weight is not a miracle. Weight loss is an achievable target for anyone if it is done with a sensible approach. Don't be tempted to buy any secrets to weight loss.

Here is a Method Helping Women Burn Belly Fat and Reduce Stomach Fat

First you need to stop the calorie counting if you want to burn belly fat. Calorie counting leads to frustration and failure because it is too time consuming and you won't ever reduce your stomach fat. All that happens is you end up eating more than you should out of frustration.

For those that have tried to do calorie counting does this sound familiar? The food doesn't have a label for you to know how many calories you are eating, you don't have your notebook to right down what you ate or you try at night to remember everything you had that day to add up your calories only to find you can't remember or you went over your calorie allotment.

What if there was a way to eat foods without having to count calories yet still not only lose weight, but lose more weight than the average dieter?

Well, some researchers have proven that there is a better way than calorie counting. This doesn't involve any special program or fancy method of determining calories. It involves choosing the proper foods at the proper times. If you eat the right nutrients at the right times you not only feel full on less calories, but you maximize your fat furning potential and reduce stomach fat at the same time.

Pennsylvania State University researchers divided up 71 obese women into two groups. Both ate a reduced fat diet, but one group ate predominately fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. These are foods that are high in water content. Six months later the group eating the fruits, vegetables and lean meats lost an extra 5 pounds more than then the other group.

They also ate more food by weight and felt less hungry throughout the day. These water rich foods allow you to eat good size portions while still providing fewer calories so that you can reduce stomach fat. Eating foods such as lean meats also provide a high thermic effect which helps you burn belly fat faster than eating other foods. Another reason why these foods works is because they are foods that help you feel fuller longer. Protein is a great nutrient to help fill you up without a lot of calories and fruits and vegetables contain fiber, which also provides that fullness. All keys to reducing stomach fat.

Provided are some examples of lean protein and water rich fruits and vegetables to help you burn belly fat.

Lean Protein:

Chicken or turkey (white meat)
Tuna fish (canned, in water)
Lean beef
Egg whites
Non-fat cottage cheese
Fish (shark, salmon, flounder, etc.)

Water Rich Fruits and Vegetables

Salad (lettuce, romaine, etc.); use non-fat dressing. Cabbage
Green beans
Red or green pepper
Artichoke hearts

If you want to burn belly fat fast then make sure that at every feeding opportunity you incorporate a lean protein choice and at least 1 fruit or vegetable into your meal plan. To reduce stomach fat consistency is the key along with the proper fat burning foods. The foods listed above meet those guidelines to burn belly fat.

Do away with calorie counting forever and start enjoying life again. There is no need to diet to burn belly fat and quite frankly it doesn't work that well. Instead eat frequently and eat the right foods and not only will you not have to diet, but you will burn belly fat at an alarmingly fast rate. No more trying to remember what you ate for breakfast or if you had a snack at 10am and how many calories it was.

Stay Motivated and Lose Weight by Training Like an Athlete

Copyright © 2008 Charles Carter

One of the challenges to people who are looking to improve their fitness is staying motivated until they reach their fitness goals. With about 9 in 10 people wanting to change their appearance (make that: lose weight) as their primary objective, getting all the way to the target weight and keeping those extra pounds off can prove to be much more difficult than some had originally bargained for.

One of the big obstacles that people face is the fact they have been out of shape for years when they decide to finally do something about their fitness, and once they do start working out, the fact that the results that they seek may take awhile and can feel like hard work will test their motivation to the limit. One of the big reasons people hire personal trainers is that, in addition to the education they can receive from a professional instructor, the trainer can create workouts that are consistently fun and engaging as well as an atmosphere of support. And this can keep a person taking on their fitness motivated all the way to the finish line.

As a personal trainer myself, I believe that one of the best tools to keeping a person really motivated all the way to their goal and target body weight is to set very specific guidelines as to what that goal is, and have the person working out be very excited about what reaching that goal can mean to them. If a person wants to lose 20 pounds, we will discuss in detail what losing 20 pounds can do for their life and how they will feel and be different when they get there. And we come back to this reason over and over again during the period of working toward that goal.

One thing that I found, though, in my career as a trainer is that frequently just having a goal about weight loss is insufficient to keep a person motivated all the way to the end. The reason is that the process of weight loss in a healthy way can be a slow one. Even if a person had a great week of training and eating well, their body may not have changed a lot anyway. That can leave them with a feeling of being unsuccessful, even though everything that they did that week was positive and will benefit them in the long run. So, I was left with the problem of having a person doing everything they need to be doing really well and actually feeling like they were successful even if they hadn't lost a lot of weight in a particular week.

The key is to get all people in the process of improving their fitness thinking like athletes, even if on a smaller scale than someone training for the Olympic Games. I believe that all people have the ability to experience their athleticism on some level, even those that have been out of shape for some time, and when they make a connection to their bodies that allow for this, they can get hooked on that experience and want more of it. They will see that improving their fitness itself feels good and can be fun on its own, and that it would be something they would enjoy doing whether they were losing weight doing it or not. Once a person gets to this level, the irony is that they will lose all the weight they want anyway because they are actually at a point where they will stick with the exercise.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to be a trainer in a couple of "weight loss" competitions sponsored by a local TV station here in Phoenix. Each of the two years that I participated, I worked with a person who was competing against three others to see who could make the biggest successful lifestyle change over a 5 month period. What the other trainers and I found over the length of the competition was that the people who ended up losing a significant amount of weight were the ones who got to the point that they realiozed that the weight loss was actually secondary in motivation to them feeling fit, athletic and healthy for the first time in a long time. All of the trainers worked with their clients using some techniques that were athletic in nature, similar to how an athlete on a sports team would train, with jumping and running drills, using medicine balls, playing basketball, etc. All of the successful participants said that once they realized they like feeling like they were athletes, they knew they would stick with the program for the rest of their lives.

I use the term "inner athlete" to describe this way of thinking, and I know that it works. Rather than having a client do just cardio, we may set a goal to have them do their first ever 5k road race in 3 months, and their cardio trains them for that in addition to helping them lose weight. Or they want to do a great hike in the coming summer, or their kids are now playing sports and they want to be able to play with them, so I do sports drills with them so they build the skills that any athlete at any age would want to have. These are the things that people like having whether they are losing weight or not, and the fact that this type of exercise helps them lose weight makes it all the better.

Successful Belly Fat Loss In Five Easy Steps

By Paul Majestyck

The battle of the bulge sneaks up on the average dieter; getting rid of it, on the other hand, is a long, drawn out battle that sometimes causes so much frustration that the dieter will simply give up or even consider the more drastic aspects of surgery to get rid of unwanted belly fat. Loss of this fat is not as easy as shedding pounds from other parts of the body, but there are some tips and tricks that will make it possible.

Successful belly fat loss in five easy steps starts with an enjoyable exercise:

1. Sleep! Sure, you know better than believing that you can lose weight while you sleep, but in the extended sense, you can help your body - and your belly - to shed some fat. If you get less than five solid hours of uninterrupted sleep, your body's production of insulin is inhibited and any sugar carbs consumed are not metabolized, and calories are not burned but instead piled on as fat. Ideal are eight hours of sleep for proper functioning.

2. Exercise your abdominal muscles with sit-ups. Nobody likes doing them, but if you do five at a time, and maybe an hour or so later do another five, you will find that at the end of the day you can come up with a sizeable amount of sit-ups! Make it a matter of pride to see how many you can do in a day and then gradually work your way up.

3. Rest your abdominal muscles. It is counterproductive to keep on exercising your abs every single day in the beginning. Take a day between exercises and instead focus on different muscle groups then.

4. Reduce your dinner carb intake. Perhaps not surprisingly, the Atkins diet (and those other ones which also center on a reduced carbohydrate and increased protein intake) works because an overload of carbohydrates will metabolize into fat when eaten prior to sleep. Focus on protein and fiber rich veggies instead for dinner, and you will be rewarded with weight loss - and thus also belly fat loss.

5. Reduce your junk food intake. Yes, this is the time to get out that old food journal again and chart for one week everything you are eating. Don't worry about recording calories, just write down what it is that you are ingesting. Do not forget to also list your soda and other drink intake! At the end of the week, seek out non-essential food items you can cut down; let's say you drink 24 non-diet soft drinks per week - next week, see if you can cut it down to 20. Couple this with a few other little tweaks here and there, and you will have cut down your weekly calorie intake - and thus your belly fat development - considerably. Keep on cutting and trimming, and over the course of the year you will find that a lot of junk is eliminated and a lot of belly fat loss is recorded.

Do not give up when the going gets tough, but stick it out. Before long you will be rewarded with great results!

Overweight And Pregnancy

In cultures where overweight is a problem, the word has pretty well gotten out about the benefits of weight loss. In the United States for example, statistics indicate that a large majority of the population is overweight. How large of a majority? How about two-thirds. Put another way, only one-third of people in the US are not overweight. This really is a stunning reality, and it has led to a wave of public information about the dangers of being overweight.

Most people in the US then are aware that being overweight can lead to a host of health problems. Some of the health problems linked to overweight include increased risk of heart attack, stroke, diabetes, and even certain kinds of cancer. There is an additional problem linked to overweight that typically doesn't get much consideration however: the link between women being overweight and a difficulty with getting pregnant.

Having trouble getting pregnant may not seem as significant as having a heart attack or stroke, but it is a real consideration for some people. Though the data is not necessarily clear-cut, there seem to be a number of reasons why overweight women can have difficulty conceiving. One reason may have to do with a particular hormonal imbalance. Leptin is a hormone that's typically deficient in people who are overweight. Leptin is thought to play a role in appetite regulation and energy levels. Leptin may also be linked to fertility levels in women: the lower the levels of Leptin in a woman's body, the more difficult it may be for a woman to conceive.

A second link between overweight and a difficulty getting pregnant is thought to be the ovulation cycle. Women who are overweight and obese can have ovulation cycles that are abnormal and even non-existent. The problem here of course is that ovulation is when a woman's fertility capacity is replenished and renewed. Without the capacity for fertility to begin with, pregnancy is not just difficult but impossible. A final possibility is that a woman who's considerably overweight simply may not possess the good health needed for the conception process to take place. Contrary to what may be popular belief, conception isn't an automatic process: conception occurs more easily in women who are younger and in good overall health.

It's important to bear in mind that weight gain during a pregnancy is an absolutely normal and appropriate process. What may be problematic is excess body weight before pregnancy takes place. Not only may a normal body weight increase the odds of conception occurring, it will also almost certainly improve the likelihood for a healthy and normal pregnancy term.

Sarah Jessica Parker's Sexy Slimdown Plan

By Melissa Larone

We all envied Sarah Jessica Parker playing Carrie in Sex in the City. She had the gossipy friends, the cute boyfriends, the hot social life but most of all the amazing toned body! I know I was frothing her body in the scenes where she was in underwear. I'm not some sort of lesbian, I like looking at girls with good bodies (my own personal thinspiration). After a sex in the city marathon I'd be hitting in the gym for about 2 hours.

So how did she do it? Well we do know she follows the South Beach Diet, but as always....we go a little deeper than that! I'm sure you want to know how many calories she eats, how she works out, any little secrets she might have. And yes of course you can find them here.

Do me a favor, don't just read it and think about it, if you are serious about making changes in your body, actually do it! Get up off your fat sorry ass and do something about it!

What Does Sarah Jessica Parker Eat?

The South Beach diet comes in three phases. In the phase one SJP eats the following for two weeks:

Lean meat, eggs, reduced-fat cheese, nuts, beans and plenty of vegetables.

BANNED FOODS: Bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, baked products, fruit, lollies or sugar.

Here is an example of what she would eat in a day during this time:

Breakfast: Poached eggs with spinach + a glass of V8 Veggie Juice

Lunch: Tuna salad with low-fat fetta

Dinner: Chicken Breast or fish fillet baked in the oven with steamed vegetables.

Snacks: Nuts, celery sticks with low0fat cottage cheese. Water and herbal teas

How Does Sarah Jessica Parker Workout?

She says she does 'everyday exercise' and admits that she struggles to put on weight (I wish I had this problem!). Here is what the star says about her skinny frame "I'm always trying to put weight on." She added: "I'm an eater - and I love junk food. I'm going to wake up one day and I'll be triple my size and I'll say, 'Ha, the joke's on me!'". She can have some of my weight if she's that desperate.
