I am 5'9" tall. When I started the diet I forgot to weigh myself, so I am not sure exactly how much I weighed or how much I have lost, but I can tell you this. I went from a size 14 clothes to a size 8. I started the diet on April 15, 2010 after reading an excerpt in the London Daily Mail. I even pre-ordered my book from Amazon.uk. Absolutely everyone has notice the difference. One thing that I do because I work five days a week is I cook my food all on one day and place in containers in the refrigerator. This way I always have something to eat. One of the quickiest ways to fall off a diet is when you have none of your available food ready, this is one way to avoid this issue. I have had no issues with the diet and it really works. I recommend this diet to anyone. So far two friends and three relatives have also started the diet with great success. I wanted to come back and add that today is 2/2/2011 and I am still a size 8 still working the diet. I did succumb to some parties during the holidays and gain 6 lbs, but went back to the beginning of the diet and some all protein days and I am back. I wish I could post pictures for all to see.

Received my copy yesterday and dived right in to make the "No-Boil Mushroom Lasagna." Not only was it quick to make, I was surprised to see that a single serving was a yummy 388 calories versus who knows how scary the actual caloric number is. Was able to thumb through the actual text of the book and I must say that I'm looking forward to cooking these meals. I think it's important to note that you shouldn't get fooled by the word "diet" in the title - if anything, this book is all about teaching you how to eat/cook healthier for your well-being.

I am so happy I purchased this book. I've been really looking for a plan to get healthy not just by going to the gym every day, but eating better and Now Eat This Diet offers 2 plans, lots of good health tips, and good recipes. I've only tried a few so far, but so far they have all been delicious and I dont feel as guilty eating some of my favorite foods. The book also works off a color-coded calorie counting system which is cool. I can really follow it and set my meals for the day. Thanksss Rocco!

Jillian Michaels, most well known as a tough-as-nails fitness expert on the television show "The Biggest Loser," has found herself defending her weight loss empire in the midst of a legal battle.
Jillian was born in California and was introduced to health and fitness because she had issues with her own weight during her teenage years. Jillian's mother enrolled her in a martial arts class, and this was a critical turning point in her life. Jillian then decided to dedicate her life to helping others lose weight through techniques such as weight training, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing.
With her increased popularity, Jillian released several books, dvd's, and games. She eventually got her biggest break in 2004 by coming on board as a personal trainer on NBC's "The Biggest Loser. In 2009 NBC made an announcement of their plans to create a similar reality show with Jillian called "Losing it With Jillian."
Jillian recently introduced her own line of diet supplements called "Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control." The main ingredient in the pills is guarana, an herb that contains caffeine and is touted as an energy booster. The supplement also contains several other high-caffeine ingredients such as coffee bean and kola nut seed extract. Another ingredient of concern is citrus aurantium, an herb that has caused high blood pressure and cardiac issues in rare cases. The diet supplement claims to promote weight loss by controlling appetite so that the portions eaten are generally smaller.
Since Jillian released her supplements, she has found herself the target of three lawsuits to date. 3 women are contending that Jillian used her celebrity by teaming up with a research company to promote the diet pills in question, when they knowingly did not work. They also feel Jillian's endorsement influenced their decision to buy a product that failed to deliver any results.
In the most recent development, Jillian is firing back with a lawsuit of her own. She has filed a defamation lawsuit in response to a comment Creer's attorney made. That attorney, Melissa Harnett, stated Jillian's pills are deceiving because they claim taking two of them per day will allow a dieter to eat chocolate cake all day. Jillian responded that her product never claimed to be a cake buster, and she considers all claims against her product baseless. She asserts the pills well studied before she ever put her name on them.

Many celebrities have realized the importance of having a healthy diet and being involved in physical exercises. Having a healthy diet, according to Rihanna is to eliminate carbohydrate from her meal plan. Rihanna is among the celebrities who made a complete transformation. When asked about her weight loss regimen, she was quick to admit on working out and trying to eat healthy.
The type of diet that Rihanna follows is Low-Carbohydrate. It eliminates foods such as bread and pasta. In two separate studies, volunteers who had low-carbohydrate diet reduced more weight than volunteers who had low-fat diet after their 6-month long clinical studies.
Rihanna believes that a low-carbohydrate meal plan is helpful in reducing cravings and losing weight as the quickest rate. It consists of fast and easy low-carbohydrate meals utilizing ordinary foods. People who take delight in healthy low-carbohydrate while losing fats quickly will be compatible with Rihanna’s weight loss diet.
However, prior to the commencement of her meal plan, people are encouraged to know the following points:
1. Reduce sugar content from the diet. Foods and beverages such as soda, sweetened drinks, fruit drinks, cookies, cakes, and candies should be eradicated.
2. To keep the energy level high and to avoid getting hungry, it is recommended that people eat meals and snacks every 4 to 5 hours.
3. Avoid eating processed foods as much as possible.
4. Drink water between meals, preferably two glasses. If flavored waters are chosen, select sugar-free. You can even create your own by adding a lime or orange slice to plain mineral water.
5. Have a daily supplement on vitamins and minerals.
To give an idea on what foods, she eats every day; Rihanna gives a sample menu for one day. For breakfast, she eats egg sandwich with cheese, meat or egg plus orange juice. She also drinks soy protein drink and munches on low-carbohydrates breakfast bar.
At lunchtime, she enjoys having grilled chicken sandwich and garden salad that uses 2 tablespoons of low-fat salad dressing. Her dessert includes frozen and low-calorie lasagna entrée and apple. Rihanna’s Deli sandwich is filled with 4 ounces turkey, roasted beef, or ham. The sandwich itself is whole-grain bread topped with oil and vinegar or mayonnaise. Her vegetables for lunch are lettuce, tomato, and ½-cup three-bean salad.
When dinner comes, 3 ounces of roasted chicken, ½ cup of pasta salad, 1 cup sliced tomatoes graced Rihanna’s dining table. She used balsamic vinegar and drinks 1 cup of skim milk. Another choice is to have a Chinese take-out of 3 ounces chicken breast combined with 1 cup of stir-fry vegetables and ½-cup rice and 1-cup skim milk.
Diet alone is not very effective in weight loss. Exercise must be used in conjunction with a healthy diet. Weight training and cardio workout are the perfect combination to boost the metabolism.
